Key Account Manager at Lantmännen Cerealia Foodservice
Are you business-driven, relationship-building, and analytical with experience in sales within the food industry? Lantmännen Cerealia Foodservice is now seeking a Key Account Manager responsible for the sales of our product portfolio within the foodservice market. In this role, you will work with both public and chain customers and become an important part of developing our business and strengthening our position in the market. This means you will showcase the products by preparing them in practice.
Your Responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager, you have a clear sales and profitability responsibility for your customers within foodservice. You proactively drive the business by analyzing sales, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing the portfolio based on both the customer's and Lantmännen Cerealia's overall strategy. A central part of the role is to see the big picture – to evaluate the business based on the entire foodservice offering within Cerealia and ensure that we work sustainably and long-term across customer and category boundaries.
You are responsible for conducting business meetings, product presentations, and launches, as well as representing us at wholesaler and end-customer fairs. The role involves regular travel. You will also work with administrative tasks such as handling and responding to public and private tenders. Together with colleagues in the sales organization and other functions within Cerealia, you will drive category and development projects with customers, from idea to implementation and follow-up.
You report to the Sales Director Foodservice and are part of a team where collaboration, business focus, and accountability are central.
What You Need to Succeed and Thrive
You have:
- Several years of experience in sales within foodservice, preferably with work against wholesalers and/or chain customers.
- Experience working with sales analysis, portfolio management, and profitability monitoring.
- Experience from the food industry.
- Good understanding of business logic, margin structure, and category management.
- Experience in tender work; interest in and/or experience with the public sector is a plus.
- Experience from kitchen environments or a genuine interest in cooking and understanding of the customer's everyday life.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English as well as a B driver's license.
You are:
- Business-driven with a strong commercial focus and the ability to translate analysis into concrete business.
- Relationship-building and confident in establishing long-term collaborations with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Structured and responsible with the ability to drive business and projects from start to finish.
- Analytical and capable of seeing the big picture, weighing different perspectives, and making well-founded decisions.
